Through guided tastings, pairings, storytelling, and hands-on blended experiences, Rum Cask introduces visitors to the craftsmanship, culture, and flavour traditions that have helped shape Jamaica’s identity.

Rum Cask is located at Artisan Village, Gate 5, Port of Falmouth, Trelawny, Jamaica. Artisan Village is a cultural attraction designed to share the story of 19th-century Trelawny, with Falmouth at its centre. During that period, Falmouth was one of Jamaica’s most important port towns, closely tied to the production and export of sugar and rum. It was a melting pot of ships’ captains, sailors, merchants, planters, enslaved Africans, tradespeople, lawyers, clergy, exporters, importers, and many others whose lives intersected through trade, labour, culture, and survival.
At Rum Cask, we honour this layered history by creating thoughtful Jamaican tasting experiences that are engaging, educational, and memorable. Our mission is to present Jamaica’s iconic flavours in a way that connects guests to the island’s heritage while celebrating the creativity and hospitality of modern Jamaica.
Each experience is carefully curated to offer new insight into Jamaican rum, coffee, jerk, and local ingredients. Guests are invited to taste, learn, ask questions, and enjoy these flavours on their own and paired with distinctive Jamaican bites.

Embark on a rare opportunity to sample exclusive marques from a local distillery (LONG POND Distillery). Learn what it takes to become a master rum blender though organoleptic analysis and expert guidance on blending your own rum using these marques, and take home your masterpiece blend.
The Rum & Cigar experience is expected to last for 90 minutes. This would include specially aged rums and hand-rolled cigars. The goal is to offer this signature experience to persons who love rum and cigars together or want to try.
Villa Visits are arranged upon request. We are happy to bring whichever experience you wish to your villa or Airbnb.
